Add a Commenta little rat does bite isnt it ?
it seemed WAY better on the previews. this movies nothing special
This movie is so stupid - it defies description! The little critters can't make up their mind if they're going to be evil - or not... I mean - they have plenty of opportunities! Once they don't do any real damage to the little girl, when it was obvious, they could (!) - you know it's going to be a superficial experience after that! Guy Pearce's character is an absolute idiot... and poor Katie Homes must be wondering - when is her real husband, Tom, ever going to find a script worthy of her acting talents... because it certainly isn't this one!
I enjoyed this movie. I wanna see what the original looks like?
Not the least bit scary once you see what the creatures really are kinda laughable but all in all not that bad.
Never saw the remake, so that's not something I can comment on. The story? It is what it is. It's standard fare, filled with dark rooms and terrified children. The art direction is quite good. It is filmed with an eye trained on visual detail. Maybe more so than the acting, which is adequate. If you are like me, you will get annoyed with the reactions of some of the characters, but I think that's an experience central to the genre. A moral? If that's what you are looking for, read Aesop. A story line? Little girl moves to scary house with her father, meets primival creatures come from out of the dark. Hijinks ensue. No one lives happily ever after. Enjoy.
This was absolutly the worst movie I have ever seen. There was no moral or story line. Katie Holmes is one of the most horrible actress in the world. The little girl was constantly terrified by tiny monsters that was truly ugly whenever she was alone. Very bad movie.....don't wast your time.
Terrible. Some of the scenery is nice to look at. Beyond that, perhaps the worst horror movie I have seen in recent memory. So bad.
i ddnt c it yet but i saw the preview of it and it was the BOMB!!!! So excited 2 c it
