Add a QuoteNeville Longbottom: "Doesn't matter that Harry's gone... people die every day. ...Friends... family... yeah... We lost Harry tonight... but he's still with us... in HERE..."
Professor Albus Dumbledore: "...do not pity the dead Harry... pity the living. ...And above all... all those who live without love..."
Harry: "Professor... Is this all real or is it just happening inside my head?" Prof. Albus Dumbledore: "Of course it's happening inside your head Harry... Why should that mean it's not real?"
Prof. Albus Dumbledore: "Help will always be given at Hogwarts, Harry, to those who ask for it. I'd always prized myself on my ability to turn a phrase... Words are in my not so humble opinion our most inexhaustible source of magic... capable of both inflicting injury... and remedying it... But I would in this case amend my original statement to this: Help would always be given at Hogwarts... to those who 'deserve' it."

Add a CommentBest Harry Potter movie ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
surprise ! we hold hands
Starts right after Voldemort obtains the Elder Wand which is the climax of Part 1. Epic battle sequences that concludes an amazing series. But the biggest Potter battle of all time was when Harry outwits Voldemort one last time. And finally defeats him!!! The Best fantasy film of 2011. Absolutely loved it!!!
Personally never saw this one, but saw all the other movies and read all the books! Can't wait until I pick it up!
I REALLY wanted to love this finale because I loved the books, and thought Ms. Rowling did a wonderful job of tying together the disparate story threads, even minor ones (Aunt Petunia and Harry's Mother) in the seventh and final. So why don't I love this movie? Well, it feels like all concerned in the movies' production were overwhelmed by having to end and panicked at the task of wrapping it off. The movie differs from the book in so many important ways and comes to seem more like an action flick than the intense emotional experience the seventh book was. The one truly outstanding exception is Alan Rickman as Snape and how his love/hatred of Harry is explained. The interesting thing is that this is the part of the movie that hews closely to the book, and is the better for it. The rest of the movie should have followed suit. The final battle is so bastardized as to be unrecognizable. A major letdown and I will keep the book thank you. They should have spoken to Peter Jackson to find out how to adapt and make changes to a classic in such a way that you don't destroy the aura and impact of the novel.
Next, people, keep the dvd in good condition, because the dvd player can lag, if the dvd has scratches. The movie is ok
