Comment
Add a CommentSeriously, I didn't find the movie entertaining as one would define it as an art as well as entertainment form. I have to say the word and I haven't used it ever in my comments here aside that quite a number of comments use it. It's predictable obviously. It's your typical American young adult movie about dating, buddies with a little twist on cancer to spice it up a bit but that's just it....nothing new.
great movie, its not about the plot but about the journey through healing. it could teach people alot
Really simple movie. Sweet at times, funny in others, and then has moments of real sadness. I appreciated the fact that it had an independent feel and wasn't overly glorified, Hollywood-style.
I was going back and forth on this one, but decided in the end I did like it. Interesting story.
Funny, and nice to see a movie with this subject matter handled with very little schmaltz. A real pleasant surprise.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt shines in this black comedy about a young radio-broadcaster who finds out he has tumor growing along his spine. Gordon-Levitt is an underrated character actor, you get drawn into every nuance as he carries out antipathy, pain, fear and frustration through-out the entirety of the film. He is supported by the duffy, but well-meaning best friend (who is played by Seth Rogen) an over-protective mother (Ms. Huston). And a neurotic therapist (Anna Kendrick) I can't praise this movie enough.
Awesome movie! Sad subject-matter, but it is nice that there was humor throughout.
really good, serious subject matter, with great comic relief thrown in, acting is top notch.
