Here a shocker this movie was not that bad but it wasn't that good either. It started off really slow but pick up when his parent were killed then slowed back down again. It was like a roller coaster it had it high moments and it had its low moments.

Taylor was as stiff as an ironing board. The dialogue was for 8th graders. I never saw his vampire movies- and now I am sure I don't want to watch. Good to see Clemente featured in this flick.

Firstly, there is no abduction in this movie. Hence, the title is stupid. The acting was forgettable. The plot was ok at times and moved along at a quick pace. The action scenes were decent. The twilight kid learned some pretty good Choreogra-fu and looked competant in the fight scenes. I would have loved to hate this movie, but it was an average action movie. Watchable. The most memorable and disturbing things in the movie are the eyebrows of the female lead.

Although I have seen all the Twilight movies I enjoyed this movie as well from Taylor. I didn't feel cheated by watching it and was impressed with the movie. It held my attention the whole time. You have to see it yourself to decide if this movie is for you. The action scenes were amazing. The plot was decent but I will say that the title was a little misleading.

Well... right off the bat - the title's a misnomer - almost half of the movie is spent setting up the 'fabricated family scenario' before the "attempted" ABDUCTION ever takes place! That ought to tell you something's going wrong... Unfortunately, Taylor Lautner - riding on the crest of a werewolf wave from the TWILIGHT SAGA - can't act his way out of a wet paper bag, let alone remain credible as a high school senior who can single-handedly overpower CIA and International criminal operatives, that are out to capture him! It's one thing to act stultifying in TWILIGHT, given the predominant emphasis cast on the Vampires in the tale, rather than his werewolves... It's quite another, when you're the opus in an action-packed thriller that requires, at the very least - a range of different facial looks to connote to the gamut of emotional expressions associated with what's happening to him and his world, on screen! Instead - we get the same uni-brow frown he's famous for on TWILIGHT, in practically every scene - whether it's a love scene, horror scene, emotional diffidence/anger/surprise...you-name-it scene! And sadly, it's strictly a case of "take-the-money-and-run" in this movie, for such stellar actors as Alfred Molina, Sigourney Weaver, and Maria Bello, to name but a few who have to play second-fiddle to the juvenile-hi-jinx masquerading as acting of Lautner and his other youthful co-star, newcomer Lily Collins! (who btw, as a HS Senior - even in Pittsburg - in real life wouldn't be caught dead with those bushes she calls 'eye-brows' in this shallow flick!)
