I loved this movie. Can't wait to see it again!!

First off let me say that in general this movie and the storyline were very good. As many of the comments here suggest this movie hits on many good points, but if you have no faith or belief in a 'God' this movie may not win you over as much as others feel. Removing the 'God' factor still makes this movie worth seeing. Tragedy can either stengthen a family or tear it apart.

This movie is amazing a great movie for fathers and men in general I loved It :) I think this is the best one Sherwood Production Has done yet

This is a movie ALL fathers should see: Those who have a pretty good feel of what 'Fatherhood' should be, will have their belief-system re-affirmed; and those others, for whom this film was really made, will have a better chance of redeeming themselves in the eyes of their loved ones, after viewing COURAGEOUS! It gets 4 STARS - not because of its artistic or technical merits (because it's pretty simplistic, straight-forward and a bit stilted) but because of the very positive life-notes that it constantly hits, and for the courageous' effort it makes to reach out to segments of our population that have forgotten their purpose as fathers. That re-acurring theme is punctuated for all men - whether they are in or out of marriage - or never married at all. The viewer is reminded of an all-important 'LIfe-message': "Fathers need to provide 'paternal leadership' that is all-too-often missing in today's society". And the Doctrine that is signed by the male characters in this movie, is a good start to engendering the principles of fatherhood in men today, regardless of their marital status.

This movie has the ability to reach and touch anyone who watches it. Serious circumstances shown with true to life emotion. How wonderful to have such a movie to inspire, all done with no swearing and completely family and faith based. You will laugh. You will cry. You will be inspired.

I saw the movie and I had like it this is based on a true story but not for children to watch

Great movie with wonderful standards!! I liked this one better than FireProof. The acting was much better, and the story line was just as good.

Amazing movie! Acting done well, entertaining and followable plot, good lessons, what else do you want in a movie? Every man should have to watch this. Made me cry many times though . . .

This is an excellent movie, hopefully it will move many of us to action especially men with their families. The writing, was wonderful and the acting for not being hollywood stars was refreshing and well done. Good job Sherwood Productions.
